Hardiness: Half Hardy

 

Sowing info: Sow undercover from March to April. Keep moist and cover with a very fine sprinkling of compost. Keep at a constant temperature of between 20-25ºC (68-77ºF). During germination, allow the temperature to reduce at night. After sowing, do not exclude light as this helps germination. Germination will usually take 3-15 days.

 

Growing info: Pot up when seedlings are 2-3cm tall. Grow on somewhere light and cool but frost free. Harden off before planting out when all danger of frost has passed. Any spindly plants can be pinched back.
