Growing Information
Can be grown in pots in cool conditions. Sow February-March under glass or April-May outdoors for flowers June-September; sow August-September for flowers February-April the following year.
Sowing Information
Sow in a propagator in trays on a windowsill or in a greenhouse at approx. 15-20°C (60-68°F) in a good quality, finely sieved, moist, firmed compost covering 3mm (1â8") deep. Germination 7-21 days. Transplant seedlings, spacing 5cm (2") apart in trays and grow on. Plant out after carefully acclimatising the young plants to outside conditions 23cm (9") apart. Sow during summer for a winter/spring display in the warm greenhouse. Alternatively sow direct outside April-May. Seed may also be sown in August-September and overwintered under glass for early flowering next year.
